💡Tip - Retail product discounts are helpful when creating discounts for specific retail product(s).
E.g., 15% of all sunscreen.
Creating a retail product discount
1. Log in to your Moxie Suite account using this link.
2. Within the Global Nav, click on Settings > Discounts & fees.
3. Then click on Discounts.
4. On the Discounts page click on the purple + Add a discount button.
5. You'll now be able to select a discount type on the pop up. Select Retail Product > Next to proceed with creating this discount type.
6. On the Create retail product discount page:

- Enter a name for your discount
- Click the purple + Add a retail product button
- On the Select products page select one or multiple products > Save

- Select either Amount off or Percent off
- Enter a value for the discount
- Confirm if the discount should be applied to a specific number of units
- If yes, toggle this on and enter # of units, otherwise leave off.
- Click the Purple Add button to create the discount.
In the below example we are creating a $4 off first 20 units of Botox as a new client special.
❗Important - The image above illustrates that when applying a multiple retail product discount, it is applied to each retail product individually. You'll also see a recommendation to use percentage off if the retail prices of selected products differ.
7. The discount will be available on your discounts page under the Retail products discounts section. Let's move on to applying the discount to an invoice.

8. On the Summary page of an appointment you'll have the ability to add a discount. Scroll down until you see the Discounts section and click on the purple + Add a discount.
9. On the Add a discount page find the Retail Product discount you created > Select it > click on the purple Save button in the top right corner.
10. You'll be brought back to the Summary page. Scroll back to Discounts to verify the discount has been applied > click Create an invoice button on the bottom of your screen to complete the appointment and proceed with accepting payment as outlined in this article.
