How to add and customize a service page

Follow these steps to duplicate an existing service page and customize it for a new service on your Squarespace website:

1. Log In to Your Squarespace Website

• • Ensure you are logged into your Squarespace account.

 2. Navigate to Pages

• • Click on Pages in the left sidebar.

 

3. Find the Services Dropdown

• • Scroll down to the Services section in the dropdown menu of your navigation.

 4. Duplicate the Page

• • Click the service page you want to duplicate.
  • Click the setting (gear icon)  button (options) next to the page name.

• • Select Duplicate Page.

• • Hit Confirm.

 5. Locate the Duplicated Page

• • Find the duplicated page under the Not Linked section in the Pages menu.

 

 6. Rename the Duplicated Page

• • Rename the duplicated page to the new service name (e.g., Dermal Filler).

 

 7. Move the Page to the Services Dropdown

• • Scroll up and drag the newly created page into the Services dropdown. (as you can see the vertical line is connected to every service page)

 8. Change the URL Slug

• • Click the duplicated page again.
  • Change the URL slug from the old service name to the new one (e.g., from microneedling to filler).

• • Hit Save.

 9. Edit the Page Content

• • Click Edit on the duplicated page.

• • Rename the page title to the new service name (e.g., Dermal Filler).
  • Update the page description accordingly.

 10. Change the Images

• • Click the pencil icon next to the existing images.

• • Select Replace to upload new images that correspond to the new service.
  • Upload and replace each image as needed.

 11. Update the Booking Link

• • Ensure that the booking link is updated if your website is live. (since this page is duplicated, book now buttons are automatically linked to your booking page)

 12. Change Additional Content

• • Update any additional content such as service descriptions, how it works, and what to expect. 

 13. Save Your Changes

• • Hit Save after making all necessary updates.

14. Check Mobile View

• • Always check the mobile view to ensure the page looks good and is properly aligned.

  • Make any necessary adjustments for mobile view.

 

Your new service page should now be ready and customized for your new service offering.
