Accessing and starting a GFE

1. Log in to your Moxie Suite account using this link.

2. As a midlevel provider (NP/PA), you can easily access a GFE through multiple convenient options, including the schedule tab, the client page, an appointment, or the GFE tab. Let's go over each method before moving on to completing the GFE. 

Schedule tab

In the Schedule tab, whether in a list or calendar view, click on the ellipses (three dots) next to the appointment and select Start GFE review to begin the process.

Client tab

In your Clients tab search for the desired client then click on the client card to navigate to the client page. Once on the client's page click the ellipses (three dots) on the top right and select Start GFE review to begin the process.

Appointment

When viewing an appointment for a client click the ellipses (three dots) on the top right and select Start GFE review to begin the process.

GFE tab

In your GFEs tab, you'll find a list of pending GFEs. You can easily filter them by provider, appointment date, and state. Just click on the appropriate card to go to the GFE.

On this page, you'll see a list of service types you'll be reviewing. Any treatments not included in the review will be displayed in their own section. To begin the process click the Start GFE Review button

๐Ÿ’กTip - You can view which treatments will be reviewed on the other pages outlined above by navigating to the GFE tab. 

โœ๏ธ Note - The services that get reviewed are the ones connected to the forms that the client completed. Otherwise, they will be clearly shown as not part of the review. 

Completing a GFE

1. On the GFE Review page, you'll be shown the Diagnoses page. To review the client's forms and pictures click the eye icon in the bottom right corner and select from the available options.

2. A pop-up will appear, letting you review the client's information.

3. After reviewing the forms and pictures, toggle on the diagnoses based on your assessment of the client. Click Next step when you've finished selecting diagnoses.

4. On the Treatments page you'll indicate, contraindicate, or not indicate the client based on your assessment. 

    • Indicated: This is the default - toggled on. Indicated means they can be treated for the given service and/or service product
    • Contraindicated: Use this when the client has a clear contraindication for the service and/or service product
    • Not indicated: Use this if you are not comfortable marking the client as indicated because you donโ€™t have enough information. You can not treat a client who is not indicated however, it's possible the client could provide you with more information which would help indicate them.

 

โ— Important - By default, all service types and products are indicated for treatments. You'll need to manually contraindicate or not indicate specific services and/or products based on your assessment.

 5. If the client is indicated for the service but not for a specific service product you can toggle the product off and select contraindication or not indicated similar to the service type. To do so, click on the pencil icon to the right of the service type name. After making your selections and adding your note click Save.  Screenshot 2024-06-10 at 1.59.05 PM

6. The service type will then be indicated with the specific product marked with a red X denoting you should not treat the client with that product.

 7. After completing your review click Submit review to sign and complete the GFE for the client.

8. You'll be rerouted to the client details page where you can view a summary of the GFE along with explicit callouts for contraindications and treatments/products that are not indicated.
