A Guide to Editing Invoice Line Items in a Few Clicks

❗Important - Any edits made to pricing using line item editing are not reflected as a discount in reporting.
Navigating to Invoice
1. On a completed appointment, select Go to Checkout to begin invoicing.
2. The Summary page contains an overview of this appointment.
Editing Line Item Price
1. On the Summary page, locate the Ellipses (...) then click on it > Edit price
2. A pop-up appears where you can update the price and then confirm the changes.
3. Types of line items you can edit in this way:

- Service Menu Items: E.g., tox treatment, facials, etc.
- Service Products: service supplies used for a service (e.g., filler, tox product).
- Retail Products: Sunscreen, skincare products, etc.
- Packages: Gift cards, bundled services, etc.
Using Discounts
You can still apply discounts on top of your edits:
1. Add Existing Discounts: Standard or custom discounts remain an option if you want a more formal promotion. These are shown in reporting.
2. Edit Line Item Price Directly: For a quick, one-time deal, simply change the price without creating a new discount code, as shown in this article. These changes are not shown in reports as a discount.
