Setting up two-step verification with SMS (text message)
1. Go to the Moxie Suite login page using this link.
2. Click on your avatar in the top right corner > Manage account
3. On the popup that appears, click on Security on the navigation menu. Then, under Two-step verification, click + Add two-step verification.
4. Select SMS Code on the new screen.
5. Click + Add a phone number.
6. The default country code is set to the United States. If you are using a phone number from another country, click on the flag icon to access the dropdown menu. Here, you can either type the country code or select the country from the list.
7. Enter your phone number and click Continue.
8. Add the verification code sent to the phone number entered.
9. After verifying the phone number, click on it to enable Two-step verification.
10. You will see the confirmation screen below once you click on the phone number. Click Finish to enable Two-step verification.
11. To confirm that Two-step verification is enabled, verify that the phone number is displayed under the Two-Step verification section.
Setting up two-step verification with an authenticator application
1. Follow steps 1-3 above.
2. On the selection screen, click on Authenticator application.
3. For the purposes of this guide we will be using Google Authenticator and scanning the QR code. You can also click on Can't scan QR code? to manually enter the information.
4. If following along with Google Authenticator, click on the + symbol within the app > Scan a QR code
5. You'll see a new line added for your Moxie Suite account displaying a revolving six digit code. On Moxie Suite enter this code to verify.
6. After verifying, you'll see the following confirmation screen. Click Finish and congrats 🎉 you've successfully added 2fa via authenticator app.
✏️ Note - If an authenticator app is added for 2FA it will be the default option.
