What are package suggestions?
Package suggestions automatically recommend relevant packages to your clients:
- During the online booking flow (right after they confirm an appointment).
- In appointment-related emails (such as booking confirmations or reminder emails).
- Inside the appointment overview page on your Moxie Suite dashboard, so your staff can easily mention and sell those packages in person.
By suggesting packages you’ll ensure that any package directly tied to the booked service or product is highlighted for the client, complete with pricing and potential savings.
Disabling package suggestions
✏️ Note - Existing and new packages will be suggested by default.
1. Log in to your account using this link.
2. Within the Global Nav, click Services & Products > Package and gift cards.
3. Find the package you do not wish to recommend.
4. Click on the ellipses > Edit
5. Scroll down to the Package purchase suggestions section and toggle the switch off, then save your changes.
That’s it! Moxie Suite will no longer recommend this package to clients. In the next section, let's see how recommended packages appears on their end.
How clients see package recommendations
In this section, we will cover how package suggestions appear on the client end. If you would rather skip ahead to see how it appears from the provider perspective in Moxie Suite, skip ahead here.
During online booking.
After confirming their appointment, clients will see a Save Money with Packages box featuring up to three relevant packages. Each package displays the total price and how much the client stands to save.
Each recommended package clearly showcases any discounts and associated perks, helping clients recognize the value right away.
✏️ Note - if there are no relevant packages that the client may be interested in, we will instead suggest up to three of your medspa's top-selling packages.
In appointment emails.
The fill-out form reminder emails also highlight package suggestions, giving clients another chance to purchase, especially if they frequently use the service included in the package.
Client portal
We also highlight recommended packages when they click on a specific appointment in the client portal.
Client purchasing experience
Clients can purchase a package before their appointment if they wish. Clicking on the Buy this package now button will redirect them to the online store, where they can complete the purchase.
Viewing suggestions in the appointment overview
1. Click on an appointment card.
2. On the appointment overview tab under the Make the most of this appointment section, you'll see the names of suggested packages. Click Show packages to proceed.
3. A drawer will appear with any suggested packages. To view all packages available at your medspa, click Show all packages.
4. Use these to discuss available packages. If they would like to purchase a package, you can proceed with adding the package to their cart in Moxie Suite and checking them out.
Purchasing a package in Moxie Suite
1. Click on the package card the client would like to purchase > Continue
2. Select the client's payment method > Pay.
💡 Tip - Click the Go to sale button to view all available payment methods.
3. A payment confirmation will appear. Feel free to close out of it or view the invoice for the package purchase.
4. What's great about this is that package credits are automatically added to the client's wallet and are redeemable on their current appointment.
