In this article, we'll show you how anyone can purchase a package from you by visiting your online store.
Before reading this article:
- Familiarize yourself with how to build packages and how to set them as live in your online store by reading this article
- Find your online store link in Moxie, click More > Settings > Services & Products > Packages, Deposits & Gift Cards.
- When a user arrives at your online store, they will see every package or gift card that you have checked the "Allow clients to purchase in online store" box for.
- For every package and gift card, the user will have the option to "Buy for myself" or "Buy as a gift".
- If the user chooses "Buy for myself", they are immediately brought to a checkout page where they are prompted to enter their email and credit card details. After purchase, the purchaser will receive an invoice via email.
Note: Today, users have to purchase packages individually; they cannot purchase multiple packages or gift cards in a single transaction. - If the user chooses "Buy as a gift", they are immediately prompted to enter the recipient's information, and then pay.
- If the recipient's email is not already associated with a client, a new client will be created and that new wallet will be updated with the Package or Gift Card credits.
- If the recipient's email is associated with a client, the credits will get added to the existing client.

- If the user chooses "Buy for myself", they are immediately brought to a checkout page where they are prompted to enter their email and credit card details. After purchase, the purchaser will receive an invoice via email.
- Once the package is purchased, only the purchaser will receive a confirmation email. In the case of a "gift", it is the responsibility of the purchaser to inform the recipient of the gift.
