Accessing your Moxie Bookkeeping data

1. Log in to your Moxie Suite account using this link.

2. Within the Global Nav click on Bookkeeping. This will take you to the Overview page.

Overview breakdown

1. The Overview page provides a snapshot of your financial data for the most recent month. Here, you can:

    • View a summary of your finances:

    • Toggle to see data from past months:

    • Monitor your business performance.

2. Further down on the Overview page you can view a detailed breakdown of your expenses by category. You can filter these categories to see where your money is going.

Similarly, you can view and filter your revenue data to understand your income streams better.

3. On the right-hand side of the Overview page, you’ll see a list of outstanding Bookkeeping tasks that may require additional information to categorize your transactions accurately. You can respond directly within Moxie Suite. For example, if you need to categorize a transaction as "food for a launch party," simply input this information and save it for our team to update your records.

✏️ Note - A count of all tasks for the month can be seen on the Bookkeeping Tasks section.

💡 Tip - You still have the option to text the bookkeeping team as usual in case you have any questions but now have the ability to respond to our questions within Moxie Suite. 

Bank transactions breakdown

1. To access transactions click the Bank Transactions tab within the Bookkeeping section. Here, you can view all the business bank accounts that Moxie is pulling data from to organize your books.

2. You can connect new accounts or repair existing connections on this page. This is particularly useful if your account’s security settings change or if you update your passwords.

✏️ Note - in order to unlink or repair an account you must click on the top right of the account in question to view the ellipses shown in the image below.

3. Scroll down on the Bank Transactions page to view recent transactions you'll see the following columns:

    • Date
    • Transaction
    • Amount
    • Category 

You also have the option to download a list of your recent transactions into a spreadsheet for your records.

Accessing and downloading reports

 

1. Click on the Reports tab within the Bookkeeping section to access your Profit & Loss statements and other financial reports. These reports provide a detailed view of your business’s revenue and expenses, allowing you to track profitability and financial health.

2. Anytime you see a carrot symbol you can click on it to drill down into specifics. For example, Clicking on Revenue reveals Sales which ultimately gives you a breakdown of all services, fees, memberships, etc. that added to your overall sales number.

3. You can download your financial reports, including the Profit & Loss statements, by clicking on the Download button to ensure you have a copy of all your records for future reference.
