This article will walk you through the various status of a service protocol and how to complete the signature process.

❗Important - Protocols will not be active until all signatures have been added. Protocols must be renewed every year - refer to the renewal date displayed on a completed protocol - and we'll send n email 7 days before as a reminder to request new documents.
1. On the Service Protocols page, scroll until you see the new protocols. Depending on who the protocol was created for you may see different statuses.

- Waiting for me - The service protocol was created for yourself and you will be able to click on the Review & Sign button to proceed with your portion of the signature process.
- Waiting for others - If the protocol was created for another provider or the MD needs to sign you'll see this status instead.
2. Before discussing the signature process, note that providers and MDs will receive an email for each service protocol, requiring action.
The email's subject will be 'Signature Request: Compliance Moxie requests you to sign [service name] service protocol.' To complete the process from the email, click the Review and Sign button.
3. Whether you proceed from Moxie Suite or from your email the signature process is the same. The first step is to click on the Review and Sign button shown in the previous images. After clicking the button, you'll be redirected to the document to begin the signature process.
4. After reading and reviewing the Electronic Signature Disclosure terms click on the checkbox then Continue.
5. Review the service protocol and when ready to start signing click on the Start signing button in the top right corner.
💡 Tip - You can see a count of remaining signature fields in the top left of the document.
6. There are several types of actions you may be asked to perform outlined below.

- Fill Value - Click into the highlighted text box and enter your name
- Insert Signature - Click into the high text box, select form one of the available options - Type, Draw, or Upload. We recommend uploading for the smoothest experience. After making your selection click the purple Save & use button
- Fill Checkbox - Click on the checkbox to proceed.
💡 Tip - Rather than clicking on the purple Next field button in the top right corner after completing one section you can click on the downward arrow under the action name to proceed to the next item.
7. After completing all required tasks click on the green Complete signing button in the top right corner.
8. You'll be redirected to moxie Suite and the status of the service protocol will either change to Waiting for others if the MD still needs to sign or Completed if both parties - provider and MD - have completed the signature form.
Once a protocol is active you'll see the Renew date listed as well.
