Interpreting GFE results
Summary
1. Navigate to Clients > Specific client > GFE (see previous section for images)
2. You'll first notice a Summary section providing a quick overview of the GFE results. Let's go over the symbols and definitions:
A red X denotes one or more contraindications either at the service or service product level.
A grey x denotes the client is not indicated for one or more service or service products.
A green check denotes the client is indicated for one or more services.
A minus symbol denotes one or more services were not part of the GFE review.
The next section will provide a through overview of contraindications, non indications and indicated treatments for the client based on your MD / GFE reviewers assessment. Let's start with contraindications.
Contraindications
The client has a clear contraindication for the service and/or service product and should never be treated using the service or service product. In the example below we see the client has a service product contraindication to Dysport.
Treatments not indicated
Your MD/GFE reviewer was not comfortable marking the client as indicated because they didn’t have enough information.
❗Important - You can not treat a client who is not indicated. Learn more on how to submit additional information which could help your MD/GFE reviewer indicate the client here.
Indicated treatments
Indicated means your client can be treated for the given service and/or service product.
❗ Important - A client might be contraindicated for a specific product but still be indicated for the service. A client should never be treated using that product while you can still treat using other products. This will be clearly highlighted on the GFE.
Diagnoses
Diagnoses are the medical conditions or diseases identified by your MD or GFE reviewer. These diagnoses help guide the treatment and care your clients may need.
Treatments with forms unsent
This section outlines any treatments which aren't included in the review. This will occur if the service type hasn't been linked to the intake form in Settings. Only the services connected to the client completed forms are reviewed.
