New deposits feature
âť—Important - Requiring deposits can reduce booking conversions. We recommend chatting with your PSM to explore best practices and decide whether deposits are the right fit for your practice.
- What’s Changed:
- We’ve introduced the ability to collect deposits for services booked through your online booking flow. When you enable deposits in your Moxie Suite settings, clients will be prompted to pay a specified amount upfront. The amount is then automatically added to their wallet and seamlessly applied toward their final invoice at checkout.
✏️ Note - Deposits currently apply to online bookings only (not in-office scheduling).

- We’ve streamlined the online booking process by combining the provider selection and appointment date steps into a single, cohesive step. Clients can now seamlessly choose their provider and preferred date simultaneously, reducing friction and boosting conversion rates. We’re excited to roll this out to all medspas to help simplify the scheduling experience and increase appointment bookings!
